Python II – Multi–channel Fibre Optic HDTV/SDTV System

The Python II series of transmitters and receivers addresses the fast growing business of digital television production, especially HDTV. Low profile Python units can accommodate up to 16 SDI signals, all the way from 19.4 Mbps all the way to 1.5 Gbps uncompressed HD/SDI. Python II units are available in channel counts of 8 or 16 one way, or as bi–directional transceivers with 8 channels of video in both directions. Pythons are also interoperable with other Telecast SDI products, such as Vipers and Mamba. Consult us for multiplexed Pythons, with 8 channels per fiber.
