CopperHead – HD/SDI Analogue Fibre Optic ENG/SNG Camera Transceiver

The CopperHead is the new fibre optic multiplexing system that fits on the back of your ENG/SNG camera. It gives you all the bi–directional signals you need in your remote TV production, and it delivers the true broadcast quality and reliability you expect of Telecast Fiber Systems.

The CopperHead can simultaneously accommodate both analogue (NTSC or PAL) and digital (SDI or HD/SDI) programme video, as well as all two way audio, tally/call and intercom signals, all on one durable lightweight fibre optic cable. Also available CopperHead cine for high definition cinematography and the CopperHead DV for Sony’s high end digital standard definition and high definition camcorders.

SCamp – SMPTE Cable Amplifier

The SCAMP is an optical repeater and power amplifier for SMPTE 311 hybrid cables. It can be installed in the middle of a cable run, functioning simply as an optical repeater and taking power from the SMPTE cable, or can be locally powered to boost electrical power as well. Equipped with in–line optical power meters, the SCAMP becomes an effective tool in monitoring and maintaining SMPTE fibre systems and infrastructures.
