Telecast Viper Range




Telecast's Viper I family, including the reel-mounted Sidewinder™ system, handles all your signals on one lightweight fiber cable. Both systems are modular and provide two-way video (NTSC/PAL or HD/SDI), audio, intercom and data transport.
The Viper II, a result of new innovations is electronics and fibre optics, is an easy to use, flexible system that serves all your facility's video, audio and auxiliary communications, at a price you can afford. The Viper II is a natural evolution of the Viper, a system you can depend on.



Telecast Viper

The Viper and Sidewinder are the world's most widely used fiber optic systems for television broadcast production, including mobile news, sports and entertainment.
The Viper evolved from the Sidewinder, and both share the same plug-in function modules for video, audio and intercom, as well as the same durable "Mussel Shell" enclosures. In portable applications use Reel-to-Shell, Shell-to-Shell or Reel-to-Reel. Choose the Viper 442 chassis for rack mount locations.

Telecast Viper 2

The Viper II Series combines a convenient, front–loading card cage with high performance modules for all types of signal transport. Modules are convertible to “throw down” units, for simple or distributed applications. Signals include NTSC/PAL/SECAM video, SDI and HD/SDI, Multi-channel audio, RS232/422 data, L–Band, POV camera links and Ethernet (10/100 and Gig–E). Optional redundant power supplies.
