Save time, cable and provide last minute facilities with SideKick| SideKick is a pair of portable throw-down boxes that provide a free (dark) fibre from a broadcast hybrid camera cable connection. All the functions and power facilities to the camera are maintained whilst a spare singlemode fibre is created. The extra fibre can then be used to provide multiple additional signals anywhere along the cable path by using a TruckLink or other single fibre signal transport. |

SideKick is compatible with Sony HDC 1000/1500 cameras and Telecast CopperHead 3200 camera control systems. Call regarding other models. The base unit has a flying SMPTE tail to connect directly to the camera base station or tailboard. The camera unit is passive and can be placed anywhere on the cable run. Standard connectors are Lemo 3K.93C and ST, other types on request. |
